Pudding is a special cow with some unique characteristics. She spends her days napping in the barn, grazing in the meadows, and romping about with her many cow friends. But one day, all of Pudding’s friends disappear, and in their place, strange things–ships and creatures–begin to roam the fields. Pudding is confused and lonely without her friends, but that night, she still manages to fall asleep, safe in the barn. However, when she wakes up, Pudding finds herself outside in the fields, with the barn nowhere to be seen. She gets up and sprints through the meadows, dodging the strange things and searching for her friends. She sees a shiny key, one of three needed to unlock the barn, on the ground. Scooping the key up in her hooves, Pudding continues running until dusk, chased by the strange things, until she finally finds all the keys and makes it back to the barn. She lets herself in, collapses, and quickly falls asleep, exhausted. The next morning, Pudding finds herself waking up in the meadow again and is more perturbed than ever. But still, she tells herself she mustn’t give up; to find her friends and get home for good, she knows she needs to just keep mooving forward.
